Meet Janina

In my dining room hangs a sign that reads, "You have filled my heart with greater joy." It's a sentiment I share with everyone who gathers at my table, a reflection of the profound happiness I find in connection. This art, this journey of paint, is an extension of that very feeling. If you have one of my pieces in your home, you're part of those who sit at my dining table, and I deeply hope the piece brings you joy too.

I truly believe we are all intricate parts of a larger whole, like slices of a pie, and we must nurture every one of those pieces. This isn't about reinvention, but a deep desire to be more than one-dimensional, to find love in all that we do. I am an artist, but I am also a devoted mother, an engineer, and a loving companion to my furry Cavapoo puppy, Milo Luli. We are so many things, and this art is one beautiful expression of the multifaceted person I am, a testament to pushing paint around with intention.

As a joyful student of Ali Kay Studio, Janina’s creative journey is shaped by the vibrant guidance and inspiration found in Ali Kay’s teachings. With acrylics that flow freely, underpaintings that set the tone, and loose strokes that speak from the heart, some pieces were brought to life through studio tutorials—part study, part surrender, all soul.
